Michael Shannon Has Revealed A “Batman v. Superman” Spoiler

share on:

In January, there were rumors about if Michael Shannon was going to fight once again the Kryptonian superhero in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” And though Shannon’s character (Zod) had his neck broken in the first released of “Man of Steel.” The rumours suggest, that Lex Luthor will steal Zod’s corpse to create Doomsday by using his DNA.

Now, it might not be completely fake. After all, if you look at the DC comics you will discover that Doomsday was built by Kryptonians. In the “All-Star Superman” comics, he was a common human being who was injected with Kryptonian genes.

Seven months later, the rumours gained more strength after the released of the film’s trailer, which shows Zod’s corpse was being put in a body bag. Recently, Shannon has confirmed his presence on the set, and apparently things got weird.

While telling an anecdote during a Vulture interview, Shannon told how he was getting constantly trapped in a porta-potty on the set of the movie and needing to ask for help due to the fact that he had “flippers instead of hands” and wasn’t able to open a door.

“I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands. So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder] being like, ‘Where’s Shannon? Where the f*ck is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, ‘Let me out of here!’”

Eventually, one member of the craft-service heard the help screams and gave him a hand.

The mystery is that why his character would be carrying “flippers” on his hands? Who is playing now?

“Well, I haven’t seen the trailer either, so I don’t know what I am in the trailer. I could be a toaster, or a Porsche, I don’t know.” Shannon said.

Shannon will have to avoid any interaction with porta-potties on the movie set.
