Two men have been arrested in connection with Allen Pafford homicide in Nodaway.

Iowa DCI Agents, along with the assistance of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Hiawatha Kansas Police Department arrested 41 year old Jon Rubendall and 39 year old James Bost. Both are from Hiawatha, Kansas.

On Friday June 26, agents from the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) moved to Hiawatha to interview witnesses and persons of interest in the Allen Pafford homicide investigation. A cash bond of $1,000,000.00 has been set for each defendant, the Iowa Department of Public Safety released a statement.

At about 11:20 am on Saturday June 20, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from Kathy Pafford at 703 4th Street, in Nodaway. They were advised that Pafford’s 44 year-son, Allen Pafford was deceased.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded immediately and found Mr. Pafford on the propertye

The investigation into the homicide is continuing.
