The Iowa Commission on Aging has called for nominations for the 2015 Betty Grandquist Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominations for the prestigious award will be accepted up to July 15.
The award recognizes an Iowan who has dedicated a portion of his or her personal or professional life to achieving excellence in the fields of aging and disability or who has contributed to promoting independence and improving quality of life among older people and those are with disabilities in Iowa.
The nominee must be a resident of Iowa who has worked in the field of the aging or disability, and has significant contributions. An Iowa volunteer who has contributed to changing lives of older people and those are with disabilities to healthy and independent lives. Self-nominations are also eligible.
Nomination forms are available on the website of the Iowa Department on Aging or can be collected by calling 800.532.3213.
