The University of Northern Iowa’s American Advertising Federation (AAF) student chapter achieved first position at the AFF District 9 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) held recently in Kansas City.
NASC takes places annually collaborated with a major corporate in order to make an integrated marketing campaign. Pizza Hut was the corporate client of this year’s event.
The UNI students participated the campaign through marketing elective classes among which Experimental Marketing was held in the fall and Advertising Campaign Development was in the spring.
Marketing instructor and adviser of AFF-UNI Matthew Wilson took both classes.
“Our team this year was unflappable. They diligently worked toward overcoming the challenges, unfazed by obstacles,” Wilson said.
