Jennifer Wiseman, NASA Hubble Space Telescope senior project scientist, will deliver a lecture on “Galaxies, Stars, Planets, and Life: A Dynamic Universe” on April 8 at the University of Northern Iowa. Her presentation will start at 7 p.m. at Lang Hall Auditorium on the university campus.
Jennifer Wiseman will speak on the latest discoveries from Hubble and discuss different societal reactions to the uncovering of the universe. The lecture is free and open to all.
Wiseman was in charge of the laboratory for exoplanets and stellar astrophysics before her current role as NASA senior project scientist.
She conducts study on the star forming regions of the galaxy. Molecular cloud cores, protostars and outflows are the fields of her interest.
